Overview

In an era where digital presence defines credibility, BPC Design, a leading interior design agency in Bangalore, sought to elevate its online experience.

This project focuses on a website redesign that brings BPC's brand identity, client-focused services, and design portfolio to life in a user-centered, visually compelling digital space.

Problem

The previous website of BPC Design didn’t reflect their innovative design capabilities and struggled with:

User Engagement: Limited interaction and engagement with potential clients.

Navigation Complexity: Users often found it hard to navigate through the site’s content and portfolio.

Visual Appeal: Outdated design that didn’t align with BPC’s vision of cutting-edge interiors and stylish living spaces.

Solution

The main aim of this project was to design -

Business-Focused Features: Intuitive Whatsapp floating button, SEO optimized content and an easy-to-use contact page to streamline client engagement & lead generation.

Engaging and Visual: Emphasizing BPC's design style through an aesthetic, visually immersive layout.

User-Friendly Navigation: Restructuring information for intuitive navigation, helping users find what they need quickly.

Client-Focused Features: Including interactive features like a design inspiration blog, project gallery, detailed client work pages.

Design Strategy

1. Design Research

Competitive Analysis

I reviewed the competitive digital landscape of Bangalore’s interior design agencies like D'Life, Livspace, Designcafe and other.

This guided me to identify trends and differentiators.

2. Brainstorming & Design Thinking

Crafted a content flow that would be simple, informative, and visually cohesive with BPC’s brand values.

Established key layouts and navigation structures.

3. Moodboard & Inspiration

For the moodboard & direction, I took inspiration from different sites in the design community like dribble, behance, awwwards, saaslandingpage, figma community and few others.

This stage really helped me set the stage to discuss the likes & dislikes of the client and understand what they are expecting.

UX UI Design

1. Concept Sketch & Wireframes

Concepting

I created high-fidelity wireframes for each page on Figma to visualize the design/structure of the webpages.

Then, I collaborated with the client to make sure the colors, fonts & designs resonate to the business.

2. Prototypes

Prototyping in Figma and Webflow

After initial designing in Figma & confirmation on the designs, I migrated the design system to Webflow for prototyping in a staging environment.

Discussed the layouts, typography & colour through the demo website with the client.

Based on request for additional features like Whatsapp floating button, CMS for blogs & projects, I designed custom features for the website.

This increased the
ease of use to update dynamic content on their own at anytime.

Responsive Design

Once the designs were finalized and tested on desktop site, I started designing for responsiveness on tablet, mobile devices & other screens.

Tablet DesignMobile Design

Multiple Pages Layout Design

I designed multiple pages which were a mix of Static (Homepage, About Us, Our Work, Services, Contact Us & Style Guide), Dynamic (CMS Collection Pages) & Utility Pages (Error Page, Password Protected Page) based on the requirement & usage of the company.

3. Design System

Colour

I decided to go with shades of brown as it represents Wood which is the main area of focus for the client's interior design business.

Typography

For the typography I chose two complementary fonts -
1. Playfair Display
2. Outfit

This font pairing gives an elegant & classic look to the website.

Buttons, Icons & Components

I designed interactive text buttons, icons, components, auto-scrolling testimonial section, custom contact form, intuitive navigation bar & footer which go well with the theme and vibe of the application.

4. Launch, Test & Update

Final Go-Live

After the final launch in the production environment & testing on multiple devices, I updated the SEO settings, Meta ID, for higher ranking on Google and greater visibility on the internet.

The outcomes, client noticed -
Improved User Engagement: A 30% increase in time spent on pages.

Enhanced Brand Perception: Positive client feedback on the new visual identity.

Increased Conversion Rate: Streamlined lead generation through optimized contact forms and call-to-actions.
